PRAGUE, May 26 (AFP) - A Czech nurse learned that she had been mistakenly identified as a victim of the roof collapse at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris when her daughter interrupted her shower shouting "Mum, you're dead", the daily Dnes reported Wednesday.

French authorities said that 39-year-old Martina Mala had been killed in Sunday's accident after they found her passport on one of four corpses recovered from the mass of rubble and glass that had been part of a walkway in the airport's ultra-modern Terminal 2E.

Soon afterwards, a police officer arrived at Mala's apartment in Prague and told one of her two daughters: "Good day Miss, your mother has died in Paris airport. Please accept our condolences."

Surprised but not grief-stricken, the daughter ran to the bathroom calling "Mum, you're dead".

Mala, who works in a urology clinic in the Czech capital, had her passport stolen in January.

A Czech foreign ministry spokesman, Vit Kolar, confirmed Wednesday that "the passport was used fraudulently" by the still unidentified women who died, along with two Chinese and a fourth victim, at the airport.

Mala told Dnes she wanted French investigators to return her passport. "I have an American visa that is valid for another three years," she said.
