Citroen recalls 22,000 cars in Britain over brakes
French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroen said on Thursday it was recalling about 22,000 of its C3 Picasso cars in Britain to fix a potential brake problem.
A company spokesman said "we are recalling the C3 Picasso models which have the driving position on the right."
Citroen wants to ensure that the passenger sitting in the front left seat does not activate the brake by mistake with his or her foot.
C3 Picasso owners should take their vehicles back to their dealer where the problem can be fixed in less than an hour, it said.
Models with their driving position on the left, as in Continental Europe, are not affected by the recall.
