RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov 14 (AFP) - Brazilian authorities have recovered the body of a French photojournalist who died along with a colleague and a pilot when their seaplane crashed in the Amazon jungle's River Negro three days ago, a morgue official said Sunday.

Joel Maurice Frank Donnet, a photographer for National Geographic, and French colleague Nicolas Reynard, a Gamma agency photographer, died along with the Brazilian pilot in Thursday's accident near Manaus, the capital of the northern state of Amazonas.

The bodies of Reynard and pilot Paulo Sergio de Miranda Correa were recovered on Thursday. They were still strapped to their seats when they were found.

The plane had taken off and landed repeatedly to allow the photographers to shoot when it suddenly crashed, the French consul in Manaus said Thursday.
