Belgians killed in plane crash near Dijon

LYON, Oct 9 (AFP) - Four Belgians were killed when the light plane they were travelling in crashed Saturday in eastern France, local officials said.

LYON, Oct 9 (AFP) - Four Belgians were killed when the light plane they were travelling in crashed Saturday in eastern France, local officials said.  

The aircraft left from the Belgian town of Ostend on a flight to a deluxe hotel in a chateau near the city of Dijon.  

The Piper PA 46 Malibu IT crashed in a wooded area about 15 kilometers (10 miles) from its destination, killing the two men and two women on board.  

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
