Bank of France trims French growth outlook

PARIS, Feb 14 (AFP) - The French economy should clock up first quarter growth of 0.5 percent, the Bank of France said Monday, trimming back its forecast from 0.6 percent previously.

PARIS, Feb 14 (AFP) - The French economy should clock up first quarter growth of 0.5 percent, the Bank of France said Monday, trimming back its forecast from 0.6 percent previously.

The central bank also said that its business climate indicator for January was at 105 points from 99 points 12 months ago and 104 in December.

"Industrial activity has remained broadly stable after sustained growth in previous months," it said in a monthly economic survey for January.
