Former dictator Jean "Baby Doc" Claude-Duvalier, who made a surprise return to Haiti on Sunday after 25 years in exile, has an return ticket to France on January 20, a French diplomatic source in Port-au-Prince told AFP.
Human rights organizations have called for the prosecution of Duvalier, stating that under his 1971-1986 regime thousands were killed and tortured, and hundreds of thousands of Haitians fled into exile.
Duvalier took office following the death of his father Francois 'Papa Doc' Duvalier.
Upon landing in Haiti on Sunday, Duvalier, 59, told reporters at the airport, simply: "I've come to help."
