Avalanches kill three in French Alps

CHAMBERY, France, Jan 25 (AFP) - Three people died Tuesday in avalanches caused by heavy snowfalls in the French Alps, emergency servcies said.

Two off-piste skiers were killed at Val Thorens and Les Arcs, and a cross-country skier near La Plagne.
