ISTANBUL, Jan 30 (AFP) - French international striker Nicolas Anelka completed his move from Manchester City of the English Premiership to Turkish league leaders Fenerbahce here on Sunday.

"Anelka has signed for Fenerbahce," said Mahmut Uslu, the Fenerbahce vice-president on the club's website.

The value of the deal was not revealed but press reports in Britain last week put the fee at around GBP 7 million (EUR 10 million) for the controversial 25-year-old.

Anelka, who began his career with Paris Saint Germain in 1995 and has also played for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Liverpool, will undergo a medical before being presented to the media on Monday.

The deal went through just a day before the close of the transfer window. Anelka had made it clear he wanted to move on from Manchester having not played for City since January 1, citing injuries which have been publicly questioned by manager Kevin Keegan.
