All long-haul passenger services from Paris' main airports and most shorter flights are operating as scheduled, airport officials said Wednesday, after days of disruption caused by volcanic ash.

Officials at both Paris Charles de Gaulle and the smaller Orly said that 100 percent of long-haul flights were running as normal.

At Charles de Gaulle, they said that 90 percent of short and medium-haul flights were also confirmed, along with special services to bring stranded tourists back from Turkey and North Africa.

No figure was given for short and medium-haul flights from Orly, which mainly serves the French domestic market and overseas territories.
