Air France warns over strike disruptions Saturday
Air France has warned that strike action by flight attendants could cause disruptions on up to 20 percent of its flights on Saturday.
In a statement, the airline said that "delays and some same-day cancellations of flights are expected" but that 80 percent of its flights should be operating.
Two of three unions representing flight attendants at the airline have called for strike action on Saturday and on November 2 to protest plans to reduce the number of attendants on each flight.
"Air France regrets the disruption of flight operations caused by a flight attendants' strike... The company apologises to its customers and regrets finding itself held hostage under these conditions," it said.
