Air France jet grazes smaller plane at JFK runway: reports
An Air France jet late Monday clipped a smaller plane as they taxied on the tarmac of New York's JFK airport, damaging both but causing no injuries, US media said.
The Air France Airbus A380 carrying 475 passengers was readying for take-off for Paris when its wing grazed the tail of a Comair jet carrying 62 passengers as taxied after arriving from Boston, the New York Times said.
No injuries were reported and the planes were towed to the gate where the passengers disembarked.
The Federal Aviation Administration was notified of the incident, which occurred at around 8:15 pm (0015 GMT), and New York Port Authority officials were interviewing both pilots, a Port Authority spokeswoman told CNN.
