SOS Help is a listening service for English speakers in France. Whatever the problem, we are there to take your call every day from 3 to 11pm. If you are worried, anxious or confused... If you are feeling lonely or sad... If you are suicidal... It may help to talk things over. We can also provide practical information on dealing with problems you encounter as a foreigner in France.
SPRINT acts as a referral service and information source for English-speaking families with children who have special needs. It also provides a network of connections and information for English-speaking and bilingual professionals. There is a specialized library at the American Cathedral with a selection of books and articles on related topics. This collection is available by appointment only.

The American Aid Society is a private, non-profit, volunteer-staffed organization founded in 1922 to assist Americans in need in France. While continuing to fulfill its original charter, the Society currently finds itself focusing on retirement advice and assistance. Although the American Embassy provides office space for the Society, private donations are its sole source of income.
