Vegaluna Plage in Cannes is a beach that is well worth a visit in the summer season but also at other times of the year. Its relaxed ambiance is complemented by a feeling of well being, talent, fashion and elegance and a very warm welcome is given to families.
Open all year, every day (except from the 14th November to the 26th December), you can enjoy its classy decoration, teck furniture, sandy coloured sun umbrellas and cushions and the mosaic decorated bar that combines beautifully with the natural colours of the beach and the sea. It also goes out of its way to help parents relax and children have fun by providing toys in the sand throughout the year and a club for children every day during the summer holidays, from midday to 4pm.
Older children and adults will also enjoy the water sports organised during the summer season, including water skiing, wake, dingy and there are also swimming lessons and aqua gym (July & August).
A life guard is also on hand to make sure that the little ones do not get into danger in the water.
All of the splashing about is bound to work up your appetite and the restaurant menu will make your taste buds water with the thought of its delicious cuisine! Under the watchful eye of the chef Antoine Regnault, all of the dishes are decorated in an original manner, with a Mediterranean touch.
Beach prices:
- from the 1st April to June and then from the 16th September to the 30th October - 15€

http://www.plageladolcevita.com
Practically everything you can think of to make it a perfect place for both parents and children has been put into practice!
It all begins with a pedestrian zone on Menton’s sea front and you will not be able to miss La Dolce Vita for the pushchairs parked in front of it and it is the last private beach when coming from the direction of the town centre. The beach can be accessed using a ramp if you have a pushchair or a wheel chair.
Part of the beach has been especially cleared for children to play with the sand and part of the sea roped off just for children, opposite the lifeguard.
There are also toys and inflatable objects. Two young ladies, both with the BAFA qualification, are on hand to amuse your children aged 5 years and over every day from 9am to 5 or 6pm, during the summer school holidays.
Younger children are also welcome to join in but with an adult. There is also an air-conditioned children's play room with TV and DVDs and it also has mini-beds for little ones who need a rest out of the sun.
Children can either eat lunch with their parents or in the kids club. They can end the day in their own private bathroom, specially equipped with a mini toilet and shower.
La Dolce Vita has clubbed together with Menton’s other private beaches to offer water skiing and other water games and sports and massages and gym for the parents. Open from May to September, from 9am to midnight.

I keep reading about all the changes to the medical system in France and want to make sure that, once married to a French citizen who works for the train system, that I will be fully covered by the french medical system. I want to make sure that as a foreign citizen I am not exempted as I have read about UK citizens coming to France and not being covered any longer by the medical system with all the reforms.
