Restaurants in Paris and cafes in France may have a reputation for fine cuisine but you still have to know how to pick a place and what to order, says Vanessa Couchman.

I always seem to find something to criticise or take exception to in just about every opinion piece article I read about France...especially when written by an ex-pat...NOT so here....excellent suggestions....
So True. We advise our clients at the Camelia to go to some of our own recomended restaurants. Chez Gautard on the plateau des Glieres and Chalet de L'Anglette. both a must if you stay with us.All ar famely run and is magnificant suroundings... you chose
I'm the author of this post and I have to tell you that your new title is not well chosen. The original title was, 'Eat Well in France - 10 Top Tips'. Your amendment of it is meaningless. 'How to Eat French Food Well' implies that it is about cultivating impeccable table manners. Not what I wrote about at all. It's not for me to apologise to anyone who reads the post, but I do anyway.
I agree with the note of the Autor of the post: the current title makes little sense, it seems to suggest that there are some rules to be respected in order to behave as locally expected when not-french are in france. It is a bit a funny and misleading title, it might be worth considering to change it.
