Books - ‘Petite Anglaise’ Book Signing & Launch Party Paris | 20/03/2008 - 20/03/2008
Catherine Sanderson made plenty of headlines last year when she was fired because of blogging. Not one to go quietly, the author of the hugely popular blog Petite Anglaise (and former contributor to Expatica) pulled together a book proposal and ignited a bidding war among publishers. Penguin won, as did Sanderson, who snagged a plum two-book deal with the venerable firm. The resulting memoir is seamless and sophisticated and stands on its on merit for those unfamiliar with her blog. The book, which will undoubtedly be a best-seller, will be available in English bookstores from March 7. The signing party will begin at 7:30pm.
