A major solo exhibition of the visual work of American artist and performer Patti Smith has been unveiled at the Fondation Cartier. Culled from pieces that were created between 1967-2007, the show provides insight into her lyrical, spiritual and poetic universe. Smith's voice serves to magnify the installations created specifically for the exhibition: a synthesis of photographs, drawings and films. A series of Nomadic Nights have been organized and curated by Smith to feature her selections in music and poetry. The museum is open most days from 11am - 8pm, and stays open late on Tuesday until 10pm. Admission is EUR 6.50, and Nomadic Nights events cost EUR 10.
