Music - ‘Les Temps des Gitans’ Paris | 22/03/2008 - 30/03/2008
Emir Kustarica’s rollicking punk opera – an adaptation from his award-winning film of the same name, brought down the house when it was presented last summer at the Opéra Bastille. An updated version will be presented for a much larger crowd this March at the Palais des Congrès. The show is packed with great Balkan music, sung in the Roma language and played by musicians from the Garbage Serbian Philharmonia and his very own No Smoking Orchestra.
