Following upon the successes of the first three editions of Counterpoint, the Louvre continues to pursue its policy of openness to contemporary art and living artists by extending an invitation this spring to Jan Fabre. The multidisciplinary Belgian artist will be shaking things up with, among other things, an installation of porcelain blue pigeons defecating all over a stairwell. Entry is included in the price of admission to the Louvre, EUR 9. The museum is open most days from 9am - 6pm, and until 10pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.
