- too biased...
you can sense the hate and fear in the article's writer. It does not portray an impartial report of the situation.
This alone begs wondering about who the real 'good guys' are. Austrian far-right leader seeks top post, 07/10/2008 01:53 - I just saw the news about the law suit against Boeing and I just think is wrong. Risponsability should be requested from the spanish authority and the airline. 12 years have I been flying for the airlines and I've never seen such dissregard for operational procedures and flight safety than in latin european countries in the last 2 years that I flew for the airlines in Spain. Don't be surprized if this is a human factor related accident. They returned to the gate due to a failure, 1 hour delay, passengers already upset, the company is due to lay off people, they read the list, they din't visualy confirmed the flaps were actually set and they continued with the take off. Happens a lot in this side of the world. Relatives of Spanair crash victims sue Boeing, 06/10/2008 07:38
- yes, what about the landlords? the problem starts with them. my partner and i had a wonderful apartment in florence italy. it was new and we never had any problems. we moved here for a masters program. we decided on an older apartment because the rent was more affordable. since we arrived a month ago we have had nothing but problems. the heater is broken, the ceiling leaks, and though we have asked the landlord not to let anyone into the apartment when we are not home- twice we have come home to find our door open and strangers working in our house. moreover, the apartment owner does not return calls or text messages. i have never felt such a lack of respect. we are not noisy and we are not 'partiers'- we are however, immigrants and students. are there organisations that protect people like us? - I agree that the minimum salary for the graduate student is reduced to Euro 25000 gross per year, but after that year, the salary must be minimum euro 35000 gross. How can somebody can earn 10000 more in just 1 year..Either they have to search again for another company, which is not good in the sense for the current company or either the student have to leave the country after working 1 year.
The dutch goverment have to think about this. They should also consider the second year minimum salary requirement or it will be just a foolish rules. Changes in Dutch immigration law 2008, 06/10/2008 12:36
