- looking for friends in Breda regionHow's 1400 work? Someone who knows the place better than me can pick the venue (outside if this weather continues). i shouldn't be too hard to recognise, I'll be the one speaking english!, 07/05/2008 06:30
- Probably the scruffiest people in the worldQUOTE (clickit @ May 7 2008, 07:48 AM) snap I once spent our grocery money on books.....There are plenty of things in this life to worry about, maybe I am too egocentric, but I honestly dont care what people think of me, much to my dutchies dispair (I am usually the one doing whateveritis different from everyone else). If I make an effort to look nice, its for me, if I dont (and I also sometimes forget to brush my hair before leaving the house) then I figure if anyone has a problem with it, its 'their' problem and not mine because I dont spend any time worrying about what they might think.Where I come from you could do your supermarket shopping in your slippers and no one would look twice, people mind their own business. Or we live on the beach or at the river where clothing is not so important either Here is my favourite piece of clothing advice for all those of you who worry about it (by the way 'togs' = swim suit in kiwi-language) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Lx2ihpGbc Its all you ever need to know....Chur bro! Too bloody right. Here's some true kiwi fashion... http://youtube.com/watch?v=G7rHZpwuWdsBring back the stubbies!!!I never thought the tv ads would be something i'd miss bout NZ... except the Tui ones of course!I don't own a suit. Don't own a hair brush either. need a haircut come to think of it, it's getting a bit shaggy. Wouldn't know fashion if it bit me on the arse. And thought the dutch were generally dressed pretty smart, haven't even seen anyone round town bare foot yet! I never used to where shoes during summer, gonna miss that! And Amsterdam's completely different from the real Holland so I wouldn't judge all dutchies on what you see there., 07/05/2008 06:14
