PARIS, April 10, 2008 - Acrobat, mime artist, dancer and performer extraordinaire, James Thierree -- Charlie Chaplin's grandson -- returns to Paris this week with a show that has already wowed New York, London and Sydney.
Described late last year by London's The Guardian newspaper as "part dance,
part conjuring trick, part visual theatre," the 34-year-old's latest
production "Au Revoir Parapluie" (goodbye umbrella) plays the Theatre de la
Ville from Wednesday until the end of the month before moving on to Austria
end May.
The son of acrobats Victoria Chaplin and Jean-Baptiste Thierree, the Swiss
artist has made a name for himself as one of the world's most creative circus
acts.
