03/07/2009Mostra International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in Barcelona

As part of Gay Pride celebrations in Spain, this festival highlights homosexual issues through film.

From 1 July to 9 July this film festival, now in its 14th year, will highlight the plights of the homosexual community through a series of short films and documentaries, along with panel discussions and presentations. This year includes films about transsexuals in Asia. Also new this year are morning sessions geared towards parents and their children.

The festival takes place in various locations in Barcelona, including the Instituto Francés, the Cinema Maldá, Casa Àsia, Razzmatazz, and Lotus Theatre.
