27 September 2007, ZARAGOZA – Nepal has signed up to participate in the Zaragoza Universal Exposition 2008, making it the 100th nation scheduled to take part in the world's fair, organisers announced on Thursday.

ZARAGOZA – Nepal has signed up to participate in the Zaragoza Universal Exposition 2008, making it the 100th nation scheduled to take part in the world's fair, organisers announced on Thursday.

Other countries which have agreed over the past several weeks to be present at Expo 2008 include Chile, the Netherlands, Hungary and Macedonia.

Organisers said representatives of the participating countries are to visit the venue soon to approve the final plans of their pavilions.

Expo 2008 opens next summer.
