MADRID-Spanish and French police have arrested two more ETA suspects in operations in the Basque Country and Paris.
In Bilbao, in the Basque Country, police arrested a man on suspicion of recruiting members of armed Basque separatist group ETA.
Anti-terrorist police said the 24-year-old man was being questioned but
gave no further details.
Meanwhile, French police arrested another suspected ETA member in Paris.
Aner Gómez Aguirre, 27, was arrested at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris late Thursday.
He has been on the run since last year.
Aguirre had false identification papers and a false driving licence.
He is thought to be the boyfriend of another ETA suspect arrested recently in France, Maite Juarros.
ETA has killed more than 800 people in a four-decade long independence campaign but has suffered several recent blows, with a wave of senior members arrested in swoops by French and Spanish police who have heightened cross-border cooperation.
Earlier this week, six leading ETA figures called for an end to the movement's armed struggle against the Spanish state, saying it was not serving any purpose.
