VIGO — Three workers who were buried when a wall collapsed have been rescued.
The accident happened in the centre of Vigo in Galicia, in north-west Spain.
The wall, which was under construction, collapsed at 12.47pm.
Three workers were initially trapped under the masonry.
Firefighters were able to get one of the workers out at about 1.30pm.
Half an hour later, the second man was pulled from the rubble.
Later in the afternoon, the third worker was rescued. He was said to be conscious.
