BARCELONA – Police arrested three Islamic terrorist suspects said to be members of group linked to Al-Qaeda.

Moroccans Mohamed Laksir, 23, Mohamed Akazim, 32, and Moulay Lahoucine Miftah Idrissi, 27, were detained in Barcelona on Tuesday.

Intelligence sources said they were members of Al Qaeda for the Islamic Lands of Magreb.

They are accused of belonging to a terrorist group and preparing terrorist attacks.

The three were also said to be involved in sending recruits to training camps in Africa.
