MENORCA — Three people were hurt when the roof of a building at Mahon airport collapsed on Thursday.
Authorities said the three people suffered light injuries when the building, which was being repaired, collapsed.
Twenty people were in the area at the time.
But Aena, which runs Spain's airports, denied first reports that they had been trapped.
Authorities said it appeared the heavy rains over the past two days in the islands had left a large amount of water on the roof, possibly causing the accident.
Builders have been working in the airport for months on the new terminal building.
