15 December 2006, JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA — Three men died and a fourth was seriously injured after a light aircraft crashed as it was coming into land on Friday.

JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA — Three men died and a fourth was seriously injured after a light aircraft crashed as it was coming into land on Friday.

The plane had flown from Segovia, north west of Madrid, and was about a kilometre from the airport when it got into difficulties and plunged to the ground, said authorities.

The privately-owned twin-engine Piper PA-34 Seneca was carrying four men.

Three men died fourth was in a serious condition in the Hospital de Jerez, suffering from multiple-fractures.

The plane crashed onto a road and was totally destroyed in the crash which happened at about 1.30pm.
