TERUEL — Three babies have been killed and another five people injured in a house fire on Monday.
The children who died all belonged to an Ecuadorian family who lived in the village of Torrecilla de Alcaniz near Teruel.
Among the injured, were three children.
One was a two-year-old boy, and two girls aged eight and 12 years.
Two women, aged 45 and 62, were also injured.
Fire fighters said the cause of the blaze was not clear.
The fire started at about 10.30am on Monday.
The Ecuadorian mother of the three babies who died had seven children in all.
Her husband was killed in a traffic accident at Christmas.
