ORENSE-Spanish tenor Josep Carreras has pledged that the Three Tenors will sing again.
Carreras, who lives in Catalonia, north-east Spain, said that the Three Tenors "will continue because the chemistry we created among us transmitted itself so intensely to the public".
He announced that his next concert with Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti will take place in May in Monterrey, Mexico.
The Catalan singer made his remarks at a press conference after performing in the north-western Spanish city of Orense's new auditorium, which he praised for its architectural and acoustic quality.
Carreras said that the trio's respect and artistic admiration for one another "grows each year ... along with our personal relationship".
