Three Spaniards killed in Afghan shooting; government
Two Spanish paramilitary police and a Spanish interpreter were shot dead in Afghanistan, Interior Minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba said Wednesday.
The two police officers were training Afghan police in the northeastern province of Badghis when they come under fire, the minister told Cadena Ser radio station.
The El Mundo newspaper said one of the Afghan trainee police shot the two Spaniards.
