MADRID-The Spanish Stock Exchange opened 35 minutes late after technical problems.
The SIBE, which connects four regional stock exchanges in Spain, said the delay had not affected any share prices but only caused delays.
In a statement, the SIBE said: "After 35 minutes, everything has returned to normality.
"At this moment, we cannot say what has caused the technical problem, but it is not something that occurs often and it is not the first European Stock Exchange where this has happened."
The SIBE started in 1994, connecting regional stock exchanges which existed in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao and Valencia.
