Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero will announce a wide-ranging cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday, an official spokesman said.

"It's true that there is going to be a broad reshuffle of the government," a spokesman for the prime minister's office told AFP following reports in the Spanish media.

He gave no details on the changes.

But Spanish media said Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos will be replaced by the health minister, Trinidad Jimenez.

Zapatero's deputy Maria Teresa Fernandez also is out of the cabinet, the media said.
