A Madrid court has ordered the capture of a Spanish pornographic film director for extradition to Colombia where he is charged with making sex films with minors.

The National Court ordered the "search and capture" of director Pablo Lapiedra on Tuesday after he failed to appear to be officially informed of the extradition decision, a court official said.

He was arrested March 17 in Barcelona on an Interpol warrant at Colombia's request, charged with making pornographic films with minors and with falsifying their ages to make them appear to be adults.

Colombian police launched the investigation after pupils at a Medellin school alerted them to a pornographic video in which a 16-year-old schoolgirl took part.

Lapiedra, who was out on bail, had fought extradition and sought to be judged in Spain. The director said he did not realise the girl was only 16 and denied having falsified her age in her papers.

"search and capture" - I think you mean "search and arrest".

    Sorry. Just basic English.
