Weekend sunshine saves the week-long fair.

SEVILLE - Mounted bullfighters enjoyed bright sunshine to see out the last day of Seville's famous April fair on Sunday following a grey and wet start to the week of festivities in the southern city.

The sold-out bullfight was one of the final events of Spain's most-famous fair, visited by hundreds of thousands of people from across the country for a taste of sherry and flamenco.

Organisers said Friday and Saturday were the busiest days, following bad weather earlier in the week that had led some people to fear a washout.
