MADRID - Seven police officers were arrested for sexually exploiting foreign women.
A chief inspector, an inspector and an officer appeared in court on Friday along with a businessman who ran a bar in Ronda, in Andalucia.
They are accused of offences 'against public health, perverting the course of justice, sexual abuse, 'abuse of power', bribery, making false documents, fraud and extortion.
The three police officers were remanded in custody by a judge.
They were detained with four other police in Ronda and all are accused of sexual exploitation of women and immigration offences.
The arrests came after an investigation by the police internal affairs branch and the Civil Guard.
