Second fatal shooting at expat bar in Marbella

27 August 2007

LONDON - A man was shot dead in what appears to be a gang killing at an upmarket area of Marbella.

The bar, owned by British expats, has been the scene of two fatal shootings in over a year.

The victim, an Estonian man in his 30s, was shot while sitting on the terrace of the Point Pub in Nueva Andalucia.

Two men rode up on a moped and one got off and shot the man in the back of the neck at 2100 BST on Sunday.

Last July an Englishman was shot dead in similar circumstances. Both incidents are not believed to be connected.

The bar is popular with ex-pats from Northern Ireland.
