MALAGA - A pensioner has died from Legionnaire's Disease while 14 others were in hospital being treated.

The 68-year-old man had been in hospital since 2 July after the outbreak started on 25 June.

It started after a high build up of the bacteria associated with Legionnaire's Disease in the refrigerator at Club de Hielo in Benalmádena, near Malaga.

The health club is managed by Gecosol Wellness.

The other 14 patients are recovering well.

An investigation has been opened by legal authorities.
