MADRID-One man has died and three others were injured after a gas leak at a Madrid college caused a blaze.
The 40-year-old man died after being intoxicated by fumes along with three other workers at the Purisima Concepcion college in central Madrid.
One of those injured in the fire was said to be seriously injured.
The accident happened just after 8am when the gas leak happened in the kitchens at the college.
Four workers were intoxicated by fumes after the leak caused a fire.
The college was not open at the time and no pupils were injured.
Firefighters helped the injured workers from the scene and they were taken to hospital.
The man died later in hospital.
Two others have only light injuries.
But other teachers were treated for stress.
The cause of the leak was not clear, firefighters said.
