MADRID – An email sent by mistake allowed police to break up a group of 29 Internet paedophiles on Friday.
One member of the group sent the email to the wrong address and police were contacted.
Police have arrested 15 and are hunting the other 14 members of the group who shared images of children being abused.
The suspects come from Andalucía, Aragón, the Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Valencia, Galicia, Madrid and the Basque Country.
The Civil Guard found 480.000 pornographic vídeos and photographs of children on the gang’s computers.
Some showed babies being abused.
Police said they believe there may be as many as one million computer files stored by the group.
