SEVILLE-Police have arrested six people in connection with the death of a man who asked children to stop throwing oranges at his window.
The 53-year-old man, who has not been named, died in hospital as a result of peritonitis caused by internal injuries suffered in an attack by a group.
The local newspaper, El Correo de Andalucia, reported two men and tour women have been arrested by police.
The incident started when the victim started remonstrating with a group of children who were throwing oranges and other objects at his house.
When the man returned to his home, he was confronted by a man with a knife. Shortly afterwards, a group started to attack him with a variety of objects.
The victim had to be helped to hospital because of the multiple injuries that he suffered.
He died in hospital the day afterwards.
A cousin of the victim denounced the attackers to police who arrested the suspects-
Those arrested are aged between 20 and 50 and come from two families who lived nearby to the victim.
