ANDORRA — A man shot dead two property developers in Andorra, the tiny principality in the Pyrenees straddling France and Spain.

The Chinese man, who carried out the killings, then turned the gun on himself, said police.

The shootings happened at the Roc de Caldes hotel in the municipality of Escaldes-Engordany.

First reports suggested the killings were in revenge for another crime, Spanish radio said.

The killer was said to be 42 years old and lived in Barcelona.

The shootings came as hotels in the mountainous area were packed with winter tourists, as Andorra is a popular destination for snow enthusiasts.

Andorra is jointly ruled by the French presidency and Spain's Bishop of La Seu d'Urgell.
