MADRID - The world's biggest conference addressing the challenges facing the future of the internet will take place in Madrid in 2009.
WWW2009, the 18th congress of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), will be hosted by Madrid Technical University at the city's convention centre between 20 and 24 April, Juan Quemada, a representative of the university announced Tuesday.
The event will bring together more than 2,000 developers, researchers and programmers from around the world to discuss ways to make the internet more efficient for business, learning and entertainment.
