SAN SEBASTIAN — 9/11 and immigration are two of the themes of the San Sebastian film festival which started on Thursday.
The 54th edition of the festival, the largest of its type in Spain, will feature Oliver Stone's new film 'World Trade Centre' about the 9/11 attacks.
A new British film 'Ghosts' by Nick Broomfield, about the death of 23 Chinese shellfish pickers who drowned in 2004 off the English coast.
The illegal immigrants who were brought to Britain by human traffickers were abandoned to their fate.
Hollywood stars who are expected to grace the festival include Max Von Sydow, Matt Dillon, Clive Owen and Diane Krüger.
The jury this year will be presided over by the French actress Jeanne Moreau.
