Greenpeace issued a report on the state of Spain's coastal regions and increasing pressure from beach-side development on Wednesday.

MADRID - With the summer holiday season getting underway, Greenpeace issued a report Wednesday on the state of Spain's coastal regions and increasing pressure from beach-side development.

The study, entitled Destruction at all costs, 2008, includes a ranking of the regions based on the number of coastal construction "black spots," led by Andalusia, Valencia, Murcia and the Canary Islands.
