MADRID - The names of Samuel Eto'o and Oleguer Presas have just been added to the lengthy injury list of Spanish giants Barcelona.

Eto'o is due to fly back to the Catalan capital on Tuesday after starring for runners-up Cameroon in the African Cup of Nations.

Eto'o finished Sunday's final - won 1-0 by Egypt - on the bench, with an ice-pack around his right knee. The extent of his injury is still not clear. The Barca doctors plan to carry out tests on him on Tuesday evening.

The most likely scenario is that Eto'o will miss Saturday's crucial Liga match away to Zaragoza, in order to rest him before next week's Champions League clash against Glasgow Celtic.

Barca announced on Tuesday that defender Oleguer will undergo an operation on Wednesday on his damaged left hand.

Oleguer broke the third finger in that hand in Saturday's 1-1 draw away to Sevilla, a draw which leaves Barca eight points behind leaders Real Madrid.

He will need around three weeks to recover from the operation.

Barca's injury list also includes the names of Albert Jorquera, Gianluca Zambrotta, Carles Puyol and Deco.

Teenage striker Bojan Krkic is recovering from gastroenteritis but should be fit by Saturday. However, veteran Thierry Henry limped off against Sevilla with hip trouble, raising fears that his recurrent hip problems might be about to return.
