SAN SEBASTIAN (dpa) - Young followers of the Basque separatist group ETA stopped a bus overnight and set it on fire in the northern Spanish coastal city of San Sebastian, reports said on Wednesday.

The masked youths threw firebombs and bottles at police and one officer was injured, according to the authorities. Police arrested two of those involved.

ETA supporters in San Sebastian attacked the headquarters of the Basque Nationalist Party, which leads regional government in the autonomous Basque region, on Tuesday night.

In the small town of Amorebieta near Bilbao, ETA supporters threw firebombs at bank branches and a court building.
