MADRID - What should have been a relaxing Easter cruise in the Greek islands ended in something closer to Mutiny on the Bounty when 600 passengers of a liner rebelled against the captain's decision to cancel several scheduled stops without explanation.

According to passengers of the Sky Wonder cruise, which is run by Pullmantur, nobody bothered to explain why the ship made slowly for Istanbul instead.

The company claims the decision was due to bad weather, but passengers who are planning legal action against the company say the Pullmantur representative yelled at them and kept them in the dark. The worst part, they claim, was when Captain Ivo Botica showed up one evening. "He lifted a glass of champagne and wished us a happy trip with a mocking smile on his lips," said a group spokesman.
