Chilean woman among Alps crash victims
A Chilean woman who traveled to Barcelona to watch a football match was among the 150 people aboard a Germanwings airliner that crashed in the Alps, local authorities said.
The woman was identified as Patricia Alegria, a lawyer who lived in Venezuela but had gone to Switzerland on business, Chile's ambassador to France, Patricio Hales, told the Bio Bio radio station.
He said Alegria went to Barcelona over the weekend to watch the Barcelona-Real Madrid match, then on Tuesday boarded the ill-fated flight to Dusseldorf.
The Germanwings Airbus A320 crashed in the French Alps, killing everyone on board.
