CEUTA – An investigation was opened Thursday into allegations that two children were sexually abused by a gang of other children, police sources said.
The alleged victims were said to be aged seven and nine.
The two boys, who are both brothers, were found in the Los Rosales area of Ceuta, Spain's enclave in Morocco.
It was claimed had been assaulted by five other children who were riding motorcycles.
One of the gang carried out the attacks while the others held the brothers down. The gang then escaped and the two boys called police and their parents, it was claimed.
They have not been hurt but were said to be shocked.
Police in Ceuta said Thursday they are hopeful they can detain the gang soon.
The boys' father condemned the alleged sexual attacks on his two children.
